| Introduction | Janet Kozak is an artist, writer, career coach and activist and is the recipient of numerous awards and recognition. Her artwork and interviews have been highlighted in numerous online and print publications including Huffington Post, Azizah Magazine, Aquila Style, Reflect on This, and Muslim Matters. As a practicing visual artist her work has been in featured in over 50 national and international exhibitions and publications and her original artworks are included in private collections in Pakistan, Egypt, Morocco, Scotland, and the USA. She is a lecturer, teacher, community organizer and natural childbirth educator and is an active proponent of healthy living, green living, and permaculture techniques through her various groups and activities. She promotes and encourages basic human rights and responsibilities towards ourselves, each other, and the planet based on Islamic principles. She has a BA in Art from CSU Sacramento where she graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2004. She currently lives with her loving husband in Karachi, Pakistan. |
