Occupation | Monkey work, or whatever needs doin' :) |
Location | Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, United States |
Introduction | I probably covered most of that in my "Interests". Except that I have been chronically ill for 20 years. I'd rather not be defined by that, but I talk about it when it helps others who are going through the same thing. It was very hard to do it alone for years, so I know how important support can be! I have Fibromyalgia,Asthma, Chronic Migraine, some other stuff, and Neurally Mediated Hypotension (I pass out if i stand up too long. It's annoying, so you might see me sitting on the ground in random places :)). I love God more than anything I've mentioned. I have no interest in preaching to you - I'd rather just be a decent human and if you'd like to talk about it, i'm very happy to. :) If not, we can talk about something else. Did i mention that cats are one of the best things about Life On Earth? |
Interests | Reading, photography, being in, near, or in any way close to bodies of water (I love the lake and would love to live near the ocean. But I'll take OK's *great* lakes for now!), hanging out in the park, writing, looking at the stars, watching the sun go down and come up (Oklahoma sunsets and sunrises cannot be beat), cats, MUSIC, and the ever-present bottle of Ozarka, which i drank before it got trendy. :) |
Favorite Movies | My sort of "area of expertise" in film is from 1929-1960. I know I like a lot of recent stuff but it never immediately comes to mind! I'll get back with you :) I loved Stardust, based on FAB author Neil Gaiman's book, and ... yeah, the brain just stops working. I'll be back ;-) |
Favorite Music | Almost all of it! |
Favorite Books | How long do you have? :) |
When you open your eyes underwater, do you ever worry that you'll drown?
Because I love trains so much that they caused me to dream about just jumping on one and going far, far away. (My original question was why I "changed to ducks from choo choos on my Jammies" ;->)
