Introduction	David Luke is a writer, consultant and self-described 'learning nut' based in Ottawa, Canada. David has lived and worked in the US and Canada for AT&T, Xerox, Queen's University and as a self-employed consultant over the past 35 years. His professional career includes work as a manager and consultant, teaching at the university level and workshop facilitation. David was a student of the late W. Edwards Deming in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Beyond learning and development his interests include folk, rock and alternative pop music, hiking, running, snowshoeing and iconoclastic thought. David has a deep interest in Eastern philosophies--Tibetan Buddhism in particular. He is a student of the Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. David and his wife Susan have three adult sons.
