| Introduction | I was born to Charlie and Jenet Garner while they were in the mission field in Manila Philippines. I joined 2 older brothers - Ted, and Tom. Later when we were back in th U.S.A ,Beth, my little sister joined us. While growing up I lived in the Philippines twice, Michigan twice, Oregon 3 times, Florida once, Tennessee once, and Texas once. This was all before the age of 20. Married Don Walker. Became 2nd generation "preachers wife". God blessed us with 3 daughters by the time I was 25. Laurie Walker - 28, Louise Jones - 25, and Leigh Walker -23. Louise further blessed our lives by marrying Dustin Jones in 2007 and adding to our joy with the grand-animals : Titus the bulldog and Mickey the siamese looking cat. In 2004 I had a massive stroke due to the physician error and hormone overdose. Thanks to God, my friends and family who prayed very diligently on my behalf & kept me in food & encouragement, the Therapists, Nurses and Doctors, insurance and the long hard hours I put in therapy, most people can't tell Iv'e had a stroke. |
