| Introduction | I am an old soul, not trapped, but lovingly placed by God's hands into a 27 year old’s body. I have never jived with the typical fads, ideals, values or views (I could go on) of my peers. I do respect generational differences but I sincerely admire the WWII generation and the generation immediately following. Every generation has something wonderful to offer and if we can somehow weave the old in with the new, this nation might just have a chance. Although my goals may be lost somewhere in text messages iPod's and social networking, I aspire to keep some of the older ways, thoughts and values alive through any means necessary. I will be focusing on the oral history that I have collected over the years. I hear new stories all the time and am constantly prying for more. As one of my favorite story-tellers would say, “Y’all just sit on down and let’s talk awhile.” |
