| Introduction | We moved to Flagler Beach between Christmas and New Year's 1999. This was quite a change from 9 years in Upstate New York. Fred retired on May 1, 2008 and Betty has been on disability since 1996 with MS. We have two children, both on the West Coast. Our son Daryl, and his partner Doug,live in Fresno, and are both Psychologist, with Daryl specializing in child psychology. Amy, our daughter, has a BA in Linquistics and lives in Seattle, WA. She moved there with her significant other, "Quitty", as he goes to law school. She is working on her masters in adult education. We live in a 55+ community (is there any other kind in Florida) and have a wonderful group of friends. Our home looks out on Bulow Creek and we like to take our boat out and enjoy Florida nature as it used to be. We butt up to a forever wild area which makes for some wonderful wildlife sightings. We enjoy our lifestyle but we don't get to see our kids enough. |

| Favorite music | Our music collection is as varied as one can be. From country to classical. Andre Rieu, Boston Pops, Celtic Thunder, and Toby Keith are particular favorites. |
