| Introduction | I am a creative social entrepreneur. In a nutshell, I come up with new, creative ways of addressing important social issues. I create projects and design unique initiatives which seek to address the problems which concern me the most. I am the person that asks: "But HOW can we change this situation?"... rather than the person who says: "This situation can never be changed". I always search for solutions. I don't bring a problem to the table - unless I have an idea for a solution. I'm an optimist and I dream BIG dreams. I can see beauty, resources and potential in places where many people see hopelessness and despair (Africa is a case in point). I also work as a consultant - to companies or organizations who are interested in new, creative solutions to a particular social problem. I am a generator of ideas... I churn them out... and many of these have successfully been put to good use. |
| Interests | Big dreams & brave people, coffee & chocolate, media in all it's forms (I'm fascinated by the influence media is able to wield), great design (be that fashion, interiors, graphics, advertising, whatever...), music (listening to it, writing it and playing it), magazines (my most expensive vice), travel... and more travel, photography (taking photos and looking at photos - I love viewing other people's scrap books!)... networking, meeting new people, ummmm? I could be here all day if I tell you ALL of my interests! |
