| Introduction | Our journey together began long ago...during the summer before our junior year in high school. Scott gave me a rose for my 16th b-day and then asked me to homecoming dance - where he gave me my first kiss on the doorstep. Shortly after that, however, we became "just friends" and stayed that way throughout high school. We kept in touch casually on Scott's missions, dated a bit before my mission, and then wrote more seriously while I was gone. When I got back, it didn't take long for us to know that this was it. We were married 6 months later. After both graduating from BYU, we moved to Corona, CA for Scott's job with Centex Homes and after only one year there, we moved to Irvine to start our masters programs. Scott will finish in 2009 with his Masters in Business Management and I finished in June with my Masters in Fine Arts, Dance. Now we live 10 mins from Newport Beach and have a beautiful little girl, Leah, who keeps us humble and happy. We are so grateful for the Lord's hand in all the details of our journey. |
