| Introduction | The word poverty must be put in context. The obvious relevance being what society you live in. I feel almost chagrined at using this term when people from all over the world can view my writing. I live in America and for most of my life I have been impoverished by American standards. That means I have always had access to food, a roof of some condition over my head, and warm clothing. I am female and 48 years old. I have never had to live in Darfur. |
