| Introduction | My two passions are animals and the outdoors. I'm 100% a country girl. I'm an administrative assistant for the University of California School of Medicine. I'm back in school at the local community college with the goal of getting my bachelors degree in Animal Science at UC Davis.
I have ambitious goals and a plan for reaching them. Part of that plan is to be a rockstar at my current job while I'm here, as it will be the avenue that takes me where I want to go. The problem is, I'm a total scatterbrain. I'm very, very good at the individual tasks that make up my job, and not so good at putting them all together on a consistent basis. Every day is a struggle to keep the forward motion at work without getting sidetracked by the lure of the world wide web and other such ridiculousness. It's important to me to do the best job that I can. Deadlines are what best motivate me, and since I basically have no supervision at work, I've created this self-imposed deadline for my next evaluation as a daily reminder to get - and keep - my butt in gear. |
