Not for me the latest £££ wonder cream which makes me feel guilty every time I sparingly apply, or some magical elixir with ingredients harvested by pixies at dawn, I'm searching for the best beauty basics, those affordable handbag heroes that any beauty-savvy suburbanite can pick up on any high street or from the supermarket shelves. That's not to say I don't enjoy the occasional luxe product, but only if it lives up to its promise and lasts!
