| Introduction | Having worked in archives and country houses for over ten years, I lecture on eighteenth century country houses and gardens. I gained a master's with distinction in Eighteenth Century Studies from the University of Southampton, and am a semi-professional singer, specialising in Regency domestic music. I have also published an article entitled 'Dibdin and Jane Austen: Musical Cultures of Gentry Women' in the book Charles Dibdin & Late Georgian Culture eds Jenson, Kennerley & Newman, published by Oxford University Press, 2018. |
