Introduction	Lots of things swirling About Me. A landlocked sailor who speaks Mandarin with a Southern drawl. Cool green hills are home, but I have a wanderlust that has pushed and pulled from mountains to desert to sea and back again. I like language and those that know how to make it go. I have an irrational feeling that there is living intelligence at all scales in the sensual universe, though I sometimes get the impression that it's vast and cool and unsympathetic to our anthropomorphic foolishness. I'm comfortable with the para-I-dig'm that the welfare and support of family, friends, and neighbors are more important than driving ideas, causes, and significance. I prefer fierce to timid, and scarcity is for other people. Sometimes my communications are kurz und vives, and I'm ok with that.
