| Interests | Kurt’s educational and community accomplishments include a BS in Chemical Engineering from the Institute of Technology, University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, Minnesota and numerous training certifications within the food industry. Kurt is an Officer in the Southern California Section of the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT), and maintains positions with the CANI, RCA and AICHE. Kurt loves animals, and is a regular volunteer for the Animal Assistance League of Orange County (AALOC). Kurt’s hobbies include an intense interest in roller coaster design and history. He is a member of the American Coaster Enthusiasts (ACE), and can often be seen at amusement parks around the world sampling the latest white-knuckle ride. |
