Introduction	I’m a man who, for many years, was just a little boy in an adult body. That’s the way I dealt with life and my marriage. Everything just rolled off my back, like a duck. Unfortunately for my beautiful wife Jacquie, that meant she had to deal with the serious issues alone, or with little help or guidance from me. Basically I was shirking my responsibilities as protector and guide for Jacquie. Now, I did provide financially for my household and family, but that’s where I believed my responsibilities ended. How wrong I was. I should have pulled my head out from between my four-pointed contacts (my @$$) a long time ago, but it took a ten-page letter from Jacquie on Valentine’s Day 2011 to wake me up and take my marriage seriously. No, it wasn’t a “Dear John” letter, but a plea from the depths of her soul asking me to step up and lead her, for she desperately needed my leadership. I could have just let it slide, like I was inclined to do, but something inside me said it was time to lead. The road is not easy, as I am not a natural leader, but I am willing to learn how to lead effectively.
