| Introduction | I was born and raised in Queens, NY to Portuguese immigrants. Having grown up as a pre-teen in the late 70's in Jamaica, Queens with 2 older brothers life was pretty eventful. Outside our roach infested apartment there was plenty of action going on including lots of music heard around the corner where the older kids hung around playing handball, talking loud, being mischievous and blasting loud rock n roll of all kinds. It was during these times I began the life long interest in my search for the coolest and best rock. From then on I just could never get enough. |
