The Girl Who Works in a Triangle

Introduction This is a story about life and work. It is about getting sick and trying to get well. This is the story of going from having what looked the the ideal job on the outside; however on the inside it was anything but that. I lost that job and I got a job working in a Triangle--not even a cubical--and I had issues with that. Major issues. After ten months, the people at my Triangle fired me, or let me go. Is there really a difference? I was back on the job market for an agonizing four months, only to land another job in another triangle, but this time all my co-workers are in triangles and we are like Pod People. This is also the story of being diagnosed as bi-polar and having my doctor use very scary words. It's the story of the hospital and drugs and trying as hard as I can to get well. It's a story about raising a daughter with ADD and second-guessing every decision that I make. It's about having a husband, called The Husband. It's also what I make for dinner, songs that I like (and will try to make you listen to) and sometimes I take pictures of my lunch. (And I use an annoying amount of footnotes--you've been warned.)

What reason do you have to believe the earth is flat?

I grew up in Iowa, which is one of the flattest places on earth. I really like flat. It's harder to sneak up on people when it's flat.
