Introduction	Greetings and welcome to Sugar is Combustible: Photo Diary 1989-2016, an archive of images I have produced over a period of 27 years. The title 'Sugar is Combustible', derived from news commentary surrounding a 2008 industrial accident at a Georgian sugar refinery, reflects Buddhist concepts of time and the impermanent nature of the human condition.
