Introduction So where is the Midwest? Well it consists of states that people tend to forget about, drive really fast through in order to get to another destination, is covered with cornfields, and is a place where cows outnumber people. Yes these things may be true about the Midwest, but it is home for me! The Midwest was where I was born and raised. I learned to drive here, and no my first vehicle was not a pickup or a tractor. Also I have never set any of radio-preset buttons in my car to country music stations. I went from preschool to seventh grade in Missouri. Then moved to Iowa and completed my undergraduate degrees there. I graduated from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska completing my doctorate. My immediate family currently lives in Missouri, and we do not say “warsh” over “wash” if you were wondering. I moved to Seattle in May 2012. Although I enjoyed living in the Midwest, I am constantly looking for my next adventure elsewhere. I am constantly traveling and trying new things; I love sharing my adventures with family and friends.
