Introduction	Susan Hayhurst is a work-in-progress in every aspect of her life. She always said she'd never marry a farmer but God proved her wrong in a big way! She's allergic to everything she married (except her husband Terry) - hay, pollen, animal dander, mold, mildew and a house with a damp basement. After 20 years, she's still adapting to living 10 miles from civilization, attending a country church of 10 rather than a city church of 2,000, and learning you don't hang laundry outside when Terry is hauling livestock manure. Susan and her family raise Hereford beef cattle, hogs, and corn and soybeans. Susan is a prayer warrior for her children and their schools through Moms in Touch International groups. She is passionate about writing, especially about agriculture, and loves sharing her farm life experiences through her monthly farm wife humor column, Hayhurst Hayloft, in Indiana Prairie Farmer magazine. Her goal in life is to raise children who love the Lord with all their hearts and to write for the inspirational market.
