| Introduction | A lifelong teacher! That's me. In the public arena, I taught elementary and middle school kids 12 years in public schools in Ohio and Oklahoma. I currently have a learning center, HURST Reading Center, where my teachers and I help children and adults learn to read. HURST Reading Center serves not only as a teaching and tutoring institution but also as a laboratory for innovative practices in education. This site will be an extension of those practices. Join us in the challenge, sharing, and just plain fun of reading. |
