| Introduction | From 1964 to 1968, Mr. Weil was a security analyst at Lehman Brothers. From 1968 to 1973 he was at Strand and Company, one of fewer than ten hedge funds then in existence, where he was a general partner. After a year at Weiss, Peck & Greer doing option hedging, Mr. Weil spent four years at Oppenheimer & Co. where he managed the partners’ own stock-market account. He left to form Delta Options Inc., which engaged in option hedging on the AMEX and CBOE. In 1984, he joined the firm founded by Kenneth S. Davidson, which eventually became Davidson Weil Associates, where Mr. Weil was a Managing Partner. The firm managed several hedge funds. In 1995, he retired. Since then, he has managed his family’s financial assets. Mr. Weil graduated from Harvard College and Harvard Business School.
