| Introduction | We are a couple of retired police officers from Washington, D.C. We enjoy travel, adventure, and lifelong learning. We expect to be dead a long time so we will try to see and do a bit of everything while we can. We work hard and play hard. |
| Interests | Life long education, Computers, Home Theater and Audio, Motorcycles, Massage, Sex, Camping, Nude Beaches, Cruises, Fishing, Boating, Eating Blue Crabs. We have been to 50 states, mostly by RV, most of the Caribean and Central America, Europe and much of Asia. We like cruises; 28 so far, and did Alaska in 2008 and the Carribean many times. We have already booked the next three including a Sailing Ship to Greece, Egypt, and Turkey in August/September 2010, (then we drove for 18 days through France, Spain, Portugal and Morocco. We will also cruised to the Eastern Carribean in February 2011, and Fantasy Fest in 2011. More cruises in 2012 and 13. We went to the Baltic including Russia, Estonia, Finland and Sweden on a tall ship in 2013. We will travel the South Pacific for 9 weeks in the spring of 2014. |
| Favorite movies | Most anything with 3+ stars. We like almost all topics, except Harry loves Brittish Comedy and Theresa hates it. |
| Favorite music | Theresa has a hearing problem and reads more than listens. Harry loves most music minus heavy metal and twangy country. Favorites are: The Coors, The Wailin' Jennys, Nora Jones, Steven Lynch, Ray Lynch, Wierd Al Yankovich, Peter Gabriel, Bach, Dvorak, the best of any genre. |
| Favorite books | Theresa loves Fiction and reads almost everything that is popular, expecially Greg Isles, Vince Flynn, Stewart Woods, Michael Crichton, Dan Brown. Harry likes most of those too but reads (or more likely listens to in audio form), non-fiction. He likes science related subjects. Recent favorites are: The Whole Shebang, DNA, Blink, Boink, A Man in Full, Hooking Up, A Short History of Nearly Everything. Favorite authors: Timothy Ferris, Richard Dawkins, Sam Harris, Timothy Hitchens, Thomas L. Friedman, Stephen Hawking, Tom Wolfe, Bill Bryson and recently J. Maartin Troost. |
