Introduction	Hi, my name is Mel and I'm a 23 year old Australian. I love period drama films, classic novels and Robin Hood BBC. My favourite novels are Northanger Abbey and Great Expectations and I am of the opinion that Henry Tilney is the best literary hero ever! I also have somewhat of an obsession with the actors Joseph Kennedy and Harry Lloyd.

Favorite movies	Robin Hood BBC, The Abduction Club, Northanger Abbey, Pride & Prejudice,Tristan & Isolde, Great Expectations (2011), Mansfield Park, Persuasion, North & South, Bright Star, Wives and Daughters, Becoming Jane, Lost in Austen, Sense and Sensibility, Love Comes softly series, The Sound of Music, Gone with the Wind, Casablanca, Lorna Doone.
Favorite books	My absolute favourite novels are 'Northanger Abbey' and 'Mansfield Park' by Jane Austen and 'Great Expectations' by Charles Dickens. Some of my other favourite authors include: Janette Oke, Tracie Peterson, Thomas Hardy, Elizabeth Gaskell, Louisa M. Alcott, Anna Sewell and Charlotte Brontë.
