Location	Where the Navy Sends Us, Currently...GA, United States
Introduction	I've been surrounded by the Navy (Submarines) my entire life, so it's no surprise I married Navy. My love of cooking and trying new things happened quite by accident. My mother has never been much of a cook (sorry Mom, but it's no secret) and my Dad was a cook on Subs. He spent a lot of time at sea, but when he was home, he'd cook every now and then. I tended to lean more towards my Mother's style of cooking...microwaveable food :) Only in the last couple years have I really started taking an interest in cooking and trying new things. I've always cooked for my husband, but they were bland, easy meals. If I didn't recognize an ingredient, or there were more than 5 or 6 of them, I didn't make it. Lately though, I've found MANY new and wonderful dishes that are still easy, but big on taste. At the urging (or badgering...however you choose to look at it :)~ of a close friend, I decided to start this blog. So, here's some of my favorite recipes, as well as some new ones.
