| Introduction | I grew up in Woodstock, Illinois, a small town sixty miles Northwest of Chicago. I studied art at UT Austin before joining the Air Force. I was stationed in England, fixing avionics for the MH-53 helicopters and C-130 planes of the 352nd Special Operations Squadron, where I completed my degree in psychology and art theory. After the Air Force I received a Masters Degree in art history from the University of Illinois at Chicago, where I met my wife Mary. I then received a second Masters Degree in Education from Chicago State University. My wife works at an art gallery in the West Loop. We have two dogs, Bella and Sasha. |
