My current favorite is Canyon Solitude: A Woman's Solo River Journey Through the Grand Canyon by Patricia McCairen. I have loved books by Sarah Addison Allen and love all things magical realism. Who doesn't want a little magic in life? The Anne of Green Gables books have always been a favorite. I loved The Old Man and the Sea by Hemingway. The Elsa Beskow books with when my kids were little. John Holts books about education. Rosemary Gladstar herbal books. |
