Introduction Duke Engel, MA, LMHP, LADC and Kelly Madigan Erlandson, LADC have facilitated workshops together for many years. Duke has spent decades helping others make powerful changes in their personal lives, and has demonstrated the power of creativity in his own transforming life choices. After decades of successful involvement in the administrative environment, Duke broke away by making inventive decisions that allowed him to travel the world. He has canoed, backpacked and biked extensively, and has completed Wilderness Survival Training. Kelly also has spent many years helping others unleash their creativity and make profound life changes, as an addictions counselor. Winner of the Distinguished Artist Award in Literature from the Nebraska Arts Council, her poetry and essays have been featured in numerous publications, and have been broadcast on national radio by Garrison Keillor. Her how-to book about getting sober will be published by McGraw Hill in 2007. Both Duke and Kelly are licensed alcohol and drug counselors, and Duke is a licensed mental health counselor, as well. Together they have more than fifty years of experience in counseling and facilitating training events.
