| Introduction | Seven organizations, universities, firms and public institutions from seven European countries will “knit their way” towards improving the social status of the people employed by the fashion industry and reducing its impact on the environment. Between 2009 - 2011, 42 fashion designers - chosen to participate at clothes designing workshops, held in each of the 7 countries - will learn how to dress up people without “stripping down” other Human Beings or the Nature. In 2011, the city of Bucharest will host a catwalk during which the 42 designers, along with the 7 partners, will unveil their final creations, the responsible clothing items. |
