| Introduction | I'm just your average nigerian girl..or should I say woman. I have lots of questions that need answering and I have lots to say...on stuff i cannot possibly discuss with my friends or my family as I fear I will be judged. Overjoyed to have found a place where I can exist anonymously and have a good rant about ANYTHING I want! I admit to being a coward. I'm not fantastically bright but I still try. My views are different to everyone elses, and I dont really agree with a lot of the principles I'm 'supposed' to have as a nigerian woman. Some have suggested that having lived here for so long i have become a bit too westernised, in their words "lost the plot". One of my friends even went as far as saying i'm not a proper nigerian. Im on a quest to try and figure this out and more importantly to find out why its such a taboo to be different in this way. |
