Introduction	Swinburne film school was sandwiched between first and second year graphic design. It was a single hallway on the third floor of the AR building, which still stands between the admin block and engineering. Between the staircases at each end were reception and lecturer's offices, a sound transfer room, then John Haddock’s storeroom and Eugene Fuzi’s maintenance room, then a series of booths, each containing a Steenbeck editing bench, and then a coffee room. It was in third year graphic design that the veil was lifted, and I realized what was actually happening on the third floor of the AR building, and I caught a glimpse of my bride. Look, it’s a film school.
