Interests | Family and friends; Really good writing and trying to emulate it; trying to figure out everything in the universe; reading about art and design; cats, big and small; food and champagne; tracking down interesting new spots and restaurants; my interesting man; great movies. |
Favorite Movies | Nine (what a Fellini rip-off though), The Lovely Bones, Waltzing with Bashir, Bright Star, Julie and Julia (although hated Amy Adam's whiney character), Whitnail and I, anything with Audrey Hepburn, Four Weddings and a Funeral, The Deer Hunter, Sophie's Choice (she had no choice), The Jazz Singer (original), The Long Good Friday, The Umbrellas of Cherbourg, Sex and the City (series), The Sopranos (series), Shirley Valentine, The Great Gatsby, A Hrd Day's Night, A Clockwork Orange. Gee, the list just goes on and on |
Favorite Music | MICHAEL BUBLE, Miles Davis, jazz, Cole Porter (especially sung by Ella Fitzgerald), anything by Andrea Bocelli, French lounge music, Annie Lennox, the classics |
Favorite Books | Sex, Knives and Bouillabaisse - a very funny account of an apprentice chef's life in the kitchen by a somewhat deranged and sharp tongued sex-change Aussie called Teri Louise Kelly. The book was described as having "an eye for detail as sharp as a sniper's". |
