| Introduction | I'm Kate Willenbrink and I live with my boyfriend and our dog (Marley) in Cincinnati. A Second Look is an outlet for all of my wacky projects and interests. My biggest passion is antiquing and repurposing old things. For me there is no greater thrill than going to a flea market, thrift store or antique store, because you never know what you will find. Normal retail shopping just can’t compare! Buying second-hand also keeps unwanted items out of landfills, and prevents the unnecessary waste of resources used to produce a new product. I am a graphic designer with a bachelor’s degree in art from Northern Kentucky University. In addition to my love for all things old, I enjoy ceramic sculpting, knitting, quilting, painting and sewing. I try to be environmentally aware and apply this not only to my lifestyle but also my work. I also enjoy doing non-profit design work for charitable organizations.
