| Introduction | I am a grad student who has not had time for anything besides origami in the past year. No, really, I can't remember the last time I watched TV. I taught myself origami for a class project, and soon it became the only thing that keeps me from going insane. I fold obsessively and compulsively. Besides it being therapeutic, I found you can fold on-the-go, which is convenient for someone like me. Now, I no longer ignore that poor schmuck on the sidewalk who insists on handing me that flyer for the new hair salon down the street; nope, I thank him kindly and use the flyer to fold a crane on my way to class. It really teaches you to appreciate the small things in life. That is why I have a box of cranes under my bed. |
