| Introduction | I grew up the daughter of a painter/story teller/artist father and homemaker/musical/creative mother and I am older sister to my nine siblings. Over the course of my life I’ve moved about twenty times creating a bit of wanderlust and love of different places in me. Our lives were fairly simple and so my siblings and I cultivated our imaginations to the max. I chose beauty school as a career path initially and then went to college while I worked completing a BA in speech and hearing along with a minor in painting. Looking back, I wish that painting and art would have been more of a priority. I try to make up for it now by making painting an important part of my daily life. Painting, creating, crafting and decorating are my true passions and addictions. The artist side of me is constantly changing, practicing with different mediums, styles and genres to find the perfect fit for my abilities. I am practicing art and I am addicted to it.
