| Introduction | I am a former floor trader and fund manager. I have traded my own account since 2002. My trading journey looks like many others - I took part in various chatrooms, got scammed by various vendors and gobbled up every trading book I could find. Eventually I ran into a problem where I could no longer learn anything new from anybody. Well, I mean there is always a new approach somewhere, but I no longer believed anybody could teach me anything more than what i already knew. My truth comes from my years of experience and actual trading - real-time observations have taught me everything that I no longer need books or mentors. I have traded the smallest timeframes and gone up to Weekly. I have traded futures, options and stocks, but now I've settled on Forex due to the number of symbols I can monitor. I also scaled back to small-ish timeframes. My trading is all about making something each day. I don't care how impressive the pip amounts are to my blog readers. You can make 100 pips catching a 100 pips move with 1 lot or trade 10 lots to catch 10 pips. However, the latter is simpler to do.....and that is what I do. |
