| Introduction | Omar is originally Palestinian but was born and raised in the UK. He lived and studied in the middle east (Jordan) for four years during his early years and is currently living abroad studying Islam. Omar studied Anthropology in university with the intentions to help him understand more about different people and cultures. He worked as a manager in the UK for one of the worlds most popular Islamic magazines - Al Jumuah. He has also worked as a Youth Leader in Al Muntada Al Islami, head of campaigns for FOSIS, an administrator as well as care-work for a disabled person. Omar is interested in travelling, activism, politics, dawah and youth work. He has recently set up Yaseen Youth Tours to inspire the youth through life-changing umrah programmes. |
