Introduction	I'm an elementary school teacher, so everyone assumes I'm happy-go-lucky, craft loving, glass half-full, not afraid to make a fool of myself kind of person. Well, that's exactly who I am! I'm definitely not a positive person all the time (who really is?!), but I try my best to find the good in all situations. I've been lucky to be surrounded with great, positive family and friends, who make this fairly easy. Though when I think about one person in my life who truly looked for the good and beauty in everyone and everything, there is no one else but my amazing Grandma. She was an awesome giver of advice and sounding board, but the message she gave was always the same - be positive, look for the good in everyone, never give up, and enjoy God's small gifts everyday. Because she was ALWAYS right, I felt it important to uphold these lessons and pass them along to others. To do that, I created this blog “These are a Few of My Favorite Things”. So here it goes, a great project of happiness, love, and healing - all in my grandma's honor.
