| Introduction | I hold a Masters Degree in Science and Acupuncture from New York College of Health Professions, nationally board certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and licensed by the State of New York. With a focus on issues of stress related illnesses, anxiety, PTSD, depression and end of life issues, I am also extensively trained in treating the illnesses acknowledged by the World Health Organization to be treatable by Acupuncture. | Interests | With my great passion for Asian cultures, I have become a student of some of its traditional arts such as Tibetan Buddhist meditation, Yogic mantra meditation, Kyudo (Japanese Zen Archery), Ikebana (Japanese flower arranging), Aikido (Japanese martial art), Qi Gong (Chinese internal energy practice). I have been a student and friend of Hatha Yoga Guru Swami Bua-ji in New York for more than 25 years. |
