| Introduction | Who am I? Well that is a hard question to put to words my friend. Instead I’ll start with why I choose “Where in the world is baby jewel?” for the title.
Where in the world is:
Post University of Arizona, the last 4 years as a technology consultant have been travelling all over the US and a few trips abroad when I could weasel a vacation in. Most of these travels have been for work. I also took advantage of the ‘alternate travel’ perk and visited many places in my own country that I hadn’t been – From DC, Miami, Colorado, NYC, Iowa to Alabama, which made it pretty impossible for family and friends to keep tabs on my roaming hinny.
baby jewel: Google singer-songwriter Jewel. Any resemblance? Bam. A family friend years ago nicknamed me Baby Jewel and its stuck. To this day it’s not uncommon for me to walk in somewhere and a random stranger blurts out “whoa, I bet you’ve heard this before but you look so much like Jewel!”. I’d like to take that as a compliment but beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Hence, Where in the world is baby jewel? Are you ready to find out? |
