| Introduction | I love fashion. I truly love fashion. Fashion for me is not being fashion forward or spending tons of money to stay with-it (well, sometimes I do indulge in a limited edition this or that!) it's about breaking the rules, darling, not about breaking the bank! For me fashion and style go hand in hand. One can forget a fashionable person but it's difficult to forget a stylish person. After college I chose a career in reporting and journalism and anchored a fashion weekly on TV - Fashion Square. Then came a cookery show followed by a job as lifestyle correspondent in The Times of India and then STAR News. After working as a producer with BBC, covering politics and current affairs my true calling took me to New York! My city of dreams... I trained to be an image consultant there at the prestigious FIT. I moved to San Francisco for love and fell in love with the culture of this beautiful city. I co-authored two books on Image Consulting & Styling and currently working on finishing a degree in fashion merchandising. I am constantly looking for new ways to reinvent myself and my clients. |
