Introduction	Dan Miner volunteered as chair of Sierra Club's NYC Group between 2008 and 2010. Dan authored a 2008 report, "Sustainable Energy Independence for NYC," calling for integrating preparation for higher fuel prices and energy volatility into PlaNYC. Dan used to serve as SVP of the Long Island City Partnership and District Manager for Manhattan Community Board Six and is now working on other sustainability projects. Visit www.beyondoilnyc.org.
