| Introduction | Like many people, my greatest ambitions in life have been to travel and to write. Thankfully I've been able to walk 3000 kms across India and write a book about the journey called "A Walk Along the Ganges". I've travelled for months in remote parts of the Amazon rain forest and written "Amazon" and "Savages, The Life and Killing of the Yanomami". Sailing has come recently. Now for most of the year my home is a small steel sailboat called "Kuan Yin" |
