| Introduction | In many ways, I live a charmed life, and hopefully my writing brings a unique perspective that others can relate to, or find humor in. I grew up splitting my time between the Napa Valley, and St. Paul MN. For many years I disliked anything to do with the wine industry, but as an “adult” I came full circle and embraced the roots of my ancestors, working as a “Cork Dork” in Corporate America wine making for over 15 years. A come to Jesus moment convinced me to leave the wine industry in 2014, and long-story-short, I went to law school, graduated, and passed the CA Bar. I am currently finishing up my paperwork to be sworn in as an attorney. To pay the bills, I do wine compliance consulting and I contract with attorneys to do litigation prep, & freelance paralegal work. When not chained to my computer, you can find me helping out (i.e. wandering around) the family vineyard aka the Ranch. WARNING to all who read this: I swear a lot. I have the vernacular of a well-educated sailor. Don’t like it? Don’t read it. |
