| Introduction | Belinda Hak comes from Rotterdam, The Netherlands, and lives in Vienna since May 2013, where she works as curator and head of education at Kunsthalle Wien. Prior to this, she held a senior management position with Witte de With, Center for Contemporary Art, Rotterdam. At Witte de With, she also worked as curator of education. Belinda studied Fine Art at the Willem de Kooning Academy and Arts & Culture Management at the Erasmus University, both in Rotterdam. She has served on several advisory boards, e.g. of the Willem de Kooning Academy and Piet Zwart Institute in Rotterdam, FRAC Nord-Pas-de-Calais in France, and the Mondriaan Fund in Amsterdam. Belinda has been working as an art theory teacher, independent curator, and editor, for example of Tubelight, a Dutch contemporary art magazine. |
