Introduction	As a mother of three, writer, film-maker it can be quite a juggling act to fulfil all roles. Co-directed short "Contentment" 10mins Co-produced and directed a short film project, "Brightside" which has been sent out to many film festivals and won awards from UK USA & Indonesia. Worked with Leicester Business Women on a short "Women&Work". Filmed and produced a short experimental (10mins) "Leicester Voices" with Leicester Somali Development Service, which can be viewed on Citizen's Eye & You Tube Some of my writing has been featured in Leicester Grassroutes Gallery as part of Leicester University. In 2011, I was awarded the `Trude Dub Award' by Leicester Writer's Club for my non-fiction work. My children’s fantasy novel was pitched to the Sci/Fi event at Demontfort in 2009 and received brilliant reviews. In recent years, I have published a number of articles ranging in topics from "Global Peace & Unity Event to Fostering" for Leicester Mercury & FOA(2008-2016) " My story Mr Right" part of Asian Writer's Anthology also received great reviews.
