| Introduction | I'm a chemist by training, and my passion for creating things (and doing chemistry!) carries into the kitchen during my free time. I like to make my food from scratch, using natural, minimally processed and good quality ingredients that I buy locally, and in season, when I can - but it's not chemical-free, because there's no such thing! All of these recipes can be made on a graduate student's budget (which is low) and working schedule (which is 6 days, 60-70 hours/week) - in other words, anyone can make and enjoy them! Just like science, cooking is a matter of trial and error (the scientific method at work!), so if you try any of these recipes, I'd love to hear your feedback, suggestions, and critiques. Enjoy! |
