| Introduction | I confess to obsessions with jiu jitsu, photography, my dobie puppy Cimba, coffee, Montana, mountains, community and quiet. I have two fantastic almost-grown sons, a sainted supportive husband, an inability to adult properly, a dreamy artistic temperament, a razor sharp glacially inevitable (and equally slow) insight, chronic fatigue, mental illness, and a ferocious concentration on living a fulfilled life.
I train at Missoula Brazilian Jiu Jitsu owned by Brad Lehuta and populated by as delightful bunch of people as you are likely to find anywhere. I shoot with a Fuji X-E1, almost exclusively using the Fuji 35mm f/1.4 lens. I edit in Elements using the Nik suite (Silver Efex, etc.). The Fuji is such a fantastic camera in monochrome I only do some personal style touch-ups there. It's equally excellent in color - I just have a much more involved post-process & edit in RAW for all color photos. |
