Introduction	Dr. Robert Parker is Chief Medical Officer of Health Alliance Medical Plans. Current responsibilities include executive level leadership for pharmaceutical, medical, quality, and provider contracting services. Prior to joining Health Alliance in November, 2008, Dr.Parker was Chief Executive Officer of Sinai Community Foundation and Chief Medical Officer of Sinai Health System, Chicago. He served on the faculty of Chicago Medical School and as the Regional Clinical Dean for Chicago Medical School. Prior to joining the Sinai Health System, Dr. Robert Parker was Chief Executive Officer of Carle Clinic Association and President of Health Alliance Medical Plans from 1995 through 1999. Dr. Parker holds a Medical Degree from the University of Virginia, is a Fellow in the American College of Physicians, and holds an MBA degree from the University of Illinois. Beyond his training as an Internist, he holds specialized training and expertise in quality management, communication skills training, human personality development, and executive coaching. Dr. Parker is married with three college aged children and is active in many community and professional organizations.
