| Introduction | Hi there! I am a mom of a twenty-something and a kindergartner. I am married to an historian by day, and pirate at night. We live in the lovely town of Charleston, South Carolina. I am an accountant by profession, but now teach college accounting classes. I started Chucktown Kids as a resource for parents of kids in the Charleston area. I was always on the lookout for a one-stop site that has information about family-centered activities in our area. I spent so much time looking for things to do that I started keeping a list of all of the events and resources. On this site, I hope to share them with you! We don’t stay home much. We love to be out and about, on the go, doing kid stuff. I tap into several venues for kid’s activities. This site compiles all of the information that I find, as well as links to parent-centered sites. There are also discussions, blog posts, and reviews.
